A comfortable base between Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Stirling – with castles, coastlines, hills, cities, and days out in every direction
One of the biggest advantages of staying here is just how much you can reach without travelling far.
Spend a day in Edinburgh or Glasgow. Explore castles, or Roman history along the antonine wall. Head into the hills of the Trossachs, the Ochils, or the Pentlands. Take a trip up to Perthshire or over to Loch Lomond. Walk along the Fife coast, visit fishing villages, or spend time by the sea.
Alternatively, stay closer to home and discover iconic attractions like the Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies, alongside quieter places that are just as rewarding.
Whatever you feel like doing, you’ll be right in the middle of it all.
A base that keeps your options open
Instead of choosing between city, countryside, or coast, you can have all three within easy reach.
That means you don’t need to plan every day in advance (though we can help you with that if you do like an itinerary). You can decide as you go – a city one day, a local walk the next, something completely different the day after.
It’s a more flexible, relaxed way to explore.
Not sure where to start?
