which lodge suits you?
All six of our lodges sleep four guests across two bedrooms, and each has a comfortable living space and its own individual character. Some are designed specifically for those travelling with cats, or dogs, some welcome any pets, and one offers a pet-free space for those with allergies.

stays designed with pets in mind
Five of our six units welcome pets, and two are specifically designed for people travelling with pets: the Cat Cabin is designed for people travelling with cats, and features double-door entry to prevent escapes, climbing/scratching posts leading to high shelves, and plenty of feline-friendly touches, while the Kennel is designed for canine guests, with its own gated garden area. We also provide thoughtful extras like pet beds, blankets, toys, and treats to help your four-legged companions feel just as much at home as you do.

Everything You Need for a Comfortable Stay
Heart of Scotland Holidays sits in between some of Scotland’s most famous cities, and near to some of its most iconic landscapes, making it an ideal base for exploring the country or catching up with Scottish friends and family. Whether you want to spend your days exploring the cities, walking lochs, mountains, or woodlands, discovering coastal villages and beaches, visiting ancient castles, and much more, it’s always a pleasure to return to the calm of our garden in the evenings.
We’re only 2 minutes from the M9 motorway by car, with Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling and many other places an easy drive from there. On foot we’re 5 minutes from the bus stop in the village, 20 minutes from the canal tow path and the John Muir Way walking and cycling route, and a 15-minute walk from Polmont Station on the main Edinburgh-Glasgow and Edinburgh-Stirling rail routes; so however you plan to travel you’ll be right at the centre of things.
